Q: If my child is unable to attend the class due to illness or other reasons, is there a make-up lesson for him/her?

答：可以的，只要在同一周内的课你都能来补。我们每一周的第一天是星期一，最后一天是星期天。

Ans: Yes, as long as you can make up for a class within the same week. The first day of our week is Monday and the last day is Sunday.

 

问：江老师教学中心要收行政费呢？

Q: Does Jiang education center charge an administrative fee?

答：和大部分教学中心一样，我们有收取行政费。我们中心只要你报读20节课程，我们就免缴行政费！行政费分别为$26.75 (FLS) 和$16.05（AMK）。

Ans: Like most of the education centres, we have an administration fee of $26.75 after the commencement of courses. We waive the administration fee if you enrol for 20 lessons! Administration fees are $26.75(FLS) and $16.05(AMK).

 

问：福禄寿总部的小学同步课程每节课是3小时，对小孩子来说时间会太长吗？

Q: Lesson duration at Fu Lu Shou Complex (the main branch) is 3 hours per class. Will it be too long for children?

答: 不会的。三小时内老师高效训练学生的听说读写能力，中间还有一个小休。你也可以为孩子报读宏茂桥的两小时的课。

Ans: Certainly not. Within 3 hours of the lesson, the teacher will hone students’ listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. There will be a short break in between. However, if time is really a concern, you may consider enrolling your child in a two-hour class at our Ang Mo Kio branch.

 

问：如果我不方便到中心报名，可以通过网上报名吗？

Q: Can I register online if it is not convenient for me to register at the centre?

答：可以的。但新学生最好能到中心报名，让老师和学生先了解一下对方，也让学生了解一下环境。在籍学生可电邮到[email protected]进行报名。我们会通过电邮指导报名程序。家长可通过UEN200708245H paynow方式 缴学费。

Ans: Yes. However, it will be better for new students to sign up at the centre so that a student can get to know his/her teacher and the new environment. 问：我家孩子应该读假期班吗？

Q: Should my child take holiday classes?

答: 如果您的孩子本身学习很自觉，成绩又相当不错，假期时可以尽情放松。如果您的孩子在一个多月里不读华文就会退步的话最好能在假期里打打气。假期课能够更集中地训练弱项，能够看到明显的进步。与其在家打游戏看电视，不如多吸收点知识，和老师及同学进行有效互动。

Ans: If your child is self-disciplined and his grades are pretty good, he can take a break during the holidays. However, if your child will stop reading Chinese and become complacent, it will be wiser to take holiday classes. Holiday classes can strengthen his weaker areas and he will be able to see noticeable improvement. Instead of playing games and watching TV at home, it is advisable to take the opportunity to consolidate one’s learning, and to interact with teachers and classmates.

 

问：总部和宏茂桥分校的课程有什么不同？

Q: What is the difference between the courses at the main branch (Fu Lu Shou) and Ang Mo Kio branch?

答: 中学课程基本一样，每节课都是两小时。
